2 shops looted in Bhaderwah, thieves decamp with cash, gold | KNO

Bhaderwah, Feb 02 (KNO): The burglars in the intervening night of Thursday-Friday decamped with jewellery, electronic items and cash from two shops in Bhaderwah area, officials said. Locals informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), during the intervening night, the thieves decamped with gold, silver, and cash from a jewellery shop and also cutters along with cash from the electric shop in Bhaderwah. The looted jewellery shop located at Jaie Road Bhaderwah belongs to Sham Lal Verma, son of Mulkh Raj Verma of Jammu, Vijaypur while the electronic shop belongs to Nirander Manhas, son of Lakh Raj Manash of Mothola Bhaderwah. Meanwhile, Police confirmed the burglary incident in the area. Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhaderwah, Vinod Sharma while confirming the incident said that “we are investigating the matter.” “A Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by SHO Bhaderwah Amrit Katoch has been constituted to investigate the matter thoroughly," said SP Bhaderwah. “As the CCTV footage is being scrutinized, some suspects are round up for investigation,” SP added—(KNO)
